AsureQuality will be holding a two-day Seed Sampling and Phytosanitary Inspection training course designed for anyone wanting to become an authorised seed sampling officer and understand Phytosanitary Inspection requirements.

You can register for one or both days, depending on your requirements.

Day 1: Wednesday 25 October  (9am – 4.30pm)

This training is recommended for any trainee export seed inspector who will need to sample seed as part of their role. This is a mandatory first step in becoming an authorised seed sampling officer (SSO). The course will cover:

  • Seed Sampling according to International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) rules.
  • Theoretical training and subsequent knowledge test.

Day 2: Thursday 26 October (9am – 3pm)

This training is recommended for export seed documentation and decision-making staff. This course is primarily inspection focused. It will cover:

  • Phytosanitary Inspection
  • Export inspection procedures including determining importing country requirements and product compliance.
