Laboratory Facilities
As well as holding internationally recognised accreditation we undertake testing for national and international regulatory programs.
International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ)
International Accreditation New Zealand is the national authority for the accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies and radiology services. IANZ accreditation is proof of our technical competence for regulators or specifiers, and that we are performing to international standards.
International Co-operation
The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) is a forum for international cooperation between the various laboratory and inspection body accreditation schemes operated throughout the world. Members of ILAC, including IANZ, are signatories to Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs), which allow for global acceptance of accredited test and inspection reports.
The aim of the international accreditation cooperation is to facilitate trade and ensure safety for consumers is realised through MRAs between accreditation authority members of ILAC, carried out in accordance with ILAC rules and procedures.

ISTA
AsureQuality Seed testing laboratories are verified by ISTA as technically competent to carry out seed testing procedures in accordance with the ISTA Rules. Accredited laboratories must show that they operate a quality management system fulfilling the requirements of the ISTA Laboratory Accreditation Standard.
ISTA achieves its vision of uniformity in seed testing world wide by producing internationally agreed rules for seed sampling and testing, accrediting laboratories, promoting research, and providing international seed analysis certificates, training and dissemination of knowledge in seed science and technology to facilitate seed trading nationally and internationally.
